| III. CHECKING BEFORE STARTING |
1/ Cooling water:
a/ Fill the radiator full with pure portable water.
Tighten the radiator pressurize cap securely. The engine
will be hot weekly if the water is dirty. After filling
water full the radiator, we can use it over a week.
But the water level should be checked everything before
using. (Fig.1)
b/ Fill up soft water (rain, well water or city service
water) up to the level of baffle cover net of the hopper. |
2/ Fuel:
Use light diesel oil
Cautions:
- Use clean light diesel oil.
- Stop the engine before filling light diesel oil into
fuel tank.
- To keep the engine away the flame or spark. |
3/ Lubricating oil:
a/ To put the engine in the balance position, to check
lubricating oil level by oil dip-stick. If the oil level
is lower than standard level, we must pour oil to the
highest line. If the lubricating oil become dirty, to
clean it by light diesel oil and pour new lubricating
oil.
b/ Dismounting air cleaner to check the lubricating
oil to see whether it is dirty, to clean it by light
diesel oil and pour the new lubricating oil to the stipulating
lever. |
